I wrote these songs from March 15-April 15 2020, or the first month of Shelter-at-Home orders. In general, this project is an opportunity for me to engage with some influences I haven't before: this month it was Liars, Nico, Throbbing Gristle, minimal wave, Scott Walker, and others. I hope you enjoy them ... I wish it didn't take a pandemic to get me writing songs for its own sake again, but I'm glad to be doing it again.

I hope everyone is feeling safe, healthy, and sane.

2022 UPDATE: I remixed this album, now that I've been doing a lot more mixing and feel more comfortable as a mixer. The songs aren't substantively different, but they sound closer to what I was hearing in my head when I made this record.
